Brains Out

Brains Out is a small top-down shoot 'em up game designed for Xamk's IVGC course .

Embark on a mission to defeat the alien brains that invaded Earth in this retro-inspired shoot 'em up game. Choose from three different spacecraft, each tailored for navigating enemy lines and confronting the Arch-Brain, the mastermind behind the invasion.

Keyboard and Gamepad can be used and customized through the Options menu.

The game was created by Matthew Dickson (Course's Content Creator) and advanced to its current state by me.

The game was developed in Unity. I used Blender to create and render 3D models in low resolution to achieve the 2D pixel art style, and modified them using Aseprite.

Aseprite and Pro Motion NG were used for the creation of pixel-art sprites and tiles .
